Follow Friday #5

Hello and Happy Friday! Hope you all had a great week! For me, this has been a fun week with a few unexpected twists and turns! The fun part, I spent the day with some very close and dear friends, and I found the inspiration for my first painted furniture project. My daughter Katelyn wants an updated dresser. She's had my oldest daughter's hand me down dresser for almost 5 years now, so I am now going to repaint the dresser to pass it over to my son, and create an new one for my daughter. More to come on this soon! The unexpected came in the passing away of an amazing woman who was a sweet, but feisty soul, who I will miss dearly, but know I will see her again one day!

Isn't this dresser lovely? This is my inspiration for my daughter's dresser. On a trip to Pier One, there was this blue ombre dresser that caught my eye! My daughter hasn't decided on a color yet, although she is partial to emerald green.
