Follow Friday #23: Summer Dreaming

Happy Friday! Hope your week has been going well!! I've missed a couple Follow Fridays with Mother's Day weekend, and end of the school year functions; and to be completely honest, my children have been out of school a week. A Week!!! For me, that is so hard to believe that a week of Summer vacation is already gone! This weekend, we're not going anywhere, but I have a few projects, that have been looking me in the eye ever since we've moved, to get them started, so that's what I am going to be doing.

For Follow Fridays from now on, I think I will be featuring 4 different blogs, one cooking/baking, one gardening, one décor/style, and one crafting.

If you are looking to add some color to your garden, you will definitely find it here, along with some absolutely beautiful photography! From Roses, to succulents and everything in between. Of course for me it was the roses, I was swooning over every single gorgeous one!

When I saw this blog, it was as if I had stepped into one of my dreams, to one day not only live in a cottage by the sea, but on the coast of France. I love everything about this photo, it's absolutely charming!

Both my husband and I are trying to eat cleaner and healthier. These are definitely a treat I could eat and not feel one bit guilty about! *unless I ate the whole plate*

One craft I've wanted to try my hand at is making a rag ribbon garland. Also, I am loving State Art right now; California, Arizona, and Washington!

Hope you have a lovely and relaxing weekend!
Until next time!

Follow Friday #16: Spread the Love of Inspiring

Happy Friday friends! Today when Katelyn woke up, she said "I am happy it's Friday!" I don't know about you, but me too! I hope you had a great week! Today, I am so excited to see my oldest daughter who is visiting from Washington state on Spring break. Tomorrow, I am taking Katelyn and a few of her friends to a skate park, for her birthday, and tomorrow night there is a salsa festival, that we missed last year I want to go to! Should be a fun and busy weekend!

I wait all week for this day! Friday Follow's are one of my favorite post, because I hope it helps you to find new and inspiring blogs to follow! Thanks to Pinterest and Instagram their Inspiration gave me so many ideas, with too many being my favorites, that  I would really love to share them all with you. I just don't want to take up all of your time, so here are a couple to spread the love and inspiration!

This week, I wanted to try something a little different, than just share, I want this to be more interactive and fun! For this week, I want to hear from you...I want to know who inspires you.
Here's the plan:
1. Post a comment, tagging an individual (or individuals) who inspired you this past week.
2. Visit and follow at least one of those mentioned. A comment is always nice...:)
3. Spread the love of inspiring others by reposting this photo and asking your friends to do the same as above (kindly provide photo credit to @mscraftberrybush).
Let's see how much love and inspiration we can spread together.

Love the name of her blog! It's fun and fresh!

Pop of Pretty

Her blog name says it all! She definitely does have a "Pop of Pretty" style! Love it!

Faded Charm Cottage

It's hard to find something I like best out of this photo and the many more like this one on her blog! Her charm is anything but faded! I almost scooped up an enamel colander last week! Think I'll go back and see if it's still there!

I am finding one style that makes my heart happy, is a colorful one! One DIY I want to *cough* try and make is a tufted headboard! The pretty bright blue one caught my eye, as did the title of her blog!

In honor of my daughter visiting from Washington, here are two of her DIY State Pride Artwork!

Valentine's Day Craft Part 4: DIY Valentine's Treasure Box

Happy Monday Friends! Next week, it's my daughter's birthday, and I wanted to handcraft  something with love for her. She's her momma's girl. She loves anything that's pink with hearts and roses. The other day, I'm waiting in line in the grocery store, and I found the new issue of Romantic Homes magazine.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PJ9RNU2/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00PJ9RNU2&linkCode=as2&tag=precimemor-20&linkId=5HTKFCHSH22O4ZXE

It featured a sweet trinket treasure box by Elyse Major. When I found my daughter's treasure box was my old sunglass case, I knew this would make a sweet gift for her to cherish for years to come. I admit it, I want to make one for myself, and put some sea shells on it, and treasures from our family vacations to the beach.

Her book tinkered treasures has many more easy to make projects to cherish.

This is a fun and easy craft for all ages. My daughter had a blast painting the popsicle sticks with the paint I had left from the Shabby Chic picture frames we did last week. I found a Victorian Rose free clip art, and added some glitter and sparkle.

The best part, my daughter thought it was the coolest thing.

If you enjoyed this Valentine's project you can find,
Part 1: Dollar Store Red crepe paper Rose Heart

Part 2: Stained Dollar Store Red Glass candydish

Part 3: Dollar Store Shabby Chic picture frames

Christmas Twinkle and A Coastal Christmas Pin

Happy Monday! Hope you had all had a great weekend! While yesterday was a quiet day, Saturday was jam packed with Christmas decorating, baking and shopping. We also celebrated my brother in law's 40th birthday! Here's to his next 40 years!!
Before I get to today's post, I wanted to share with you a couple of pictures from last week. At Lindsay's school, the girls and I had fun decorating cookies, singing Christmas carols, and sipping hot chocolate!

It seems this year that the tree will never be completely decorated. We thought we put the last ornament on, and then we found a dozen more. Then it happened, one string of lights decided to go out mid-tree, and I really want to put an angel on the top of the tree, because the top to this one seems bear. Finally, I still have a few DIY Birch ornaments I am working on and that will be all.

Yesterday our cat had fun chasing these lights up and down on the wall. There is something magical about the 'Twinkle' of lights and ornaments.

One of these years I SO want to do a Coastal Christmas Theme, with blue/aqua, turquoise and cream, instead of the traditional red, green and gold that seems to be the theme every year. For me this room is so  peaceful. With all the hustle and bustle, I could get cozy on the couch, next to the fire, drink some hot tea and put my feet up for a few.

If I have time, I really want to make these beautiful Coastal Salt Clay ornaments

November Favorite Beauty Finds

November Favorite Beauty Finds

With the Holidays fast approaching, I will be opening my house up for out of town guest who will be staying from next weekend, until New Years, and beside Holiday Decorating, I want to decorate on the fly my Living Room. Where does one go to get inspiration, but Pinterest of course. When I came across this pin. I first saw Sarah Richardson on HGTV's Sarah's House, and I fell in love with this Coastal cottage Living Room and it's gorgeous water view.

Check out my Dream Room Inspired by Sarah Richardson board, and be sure to check back soon to see how my dream room has turned out.
