A Week in CASL photos: July 20th- July 26th

Happy Beautiful Monday! Hope you all had a relaxing weekend! It was a very busy, fun and lovely weekend over here! There is still more getting ready for back to school
and painting going on over here! I didn't get a chance to capture all of this week's prompts, but here are the ones I did!

What I like about doing a Photo365, is that I get to share with you a peek into what my week has been like, and possibly a sneak peek to what next week will bring. I've tried 365 Photo or Daily photo memes several times before, and surprisingly, I am getting farther posting my photos once a week, instead of once a day. It makes a big difference, and it's really nice to look back and see a slice of my day!

July 21st~ Real...

Easy Homemade Pizza Bianco  The girls and I had a blast making homemade pizzas last week. They made pepperoni of course, and for me and my husband, this wonderful Pizza Bianco. It's easier than you think!!

July 22nd~ Fake

I would love to try and grow these 'Blue Orchids', but based on what I've read the roots are injected with blue dye, and are way overpriced! That they are basically white orchids, tinted blue! They are still gorgeous!

July 24th~ Bloom

'Luscious' rose
Here is the first bloom, from the first rose bush, in our new garden. I found it at Berridge Nurseries located in Phoenix. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful indeed. With it being late in the year, finding roses is a challenge. At the nursery, there was still an unbelievable selection of potted roses, with many favorites. In January, the selection will be even more extensive. I'm looking forward to getting my next rose in January from them.

July 25th~ The Two of Us...

A fun day of Back to School shopping with the girls.

July 26th~ Clouds on Fire

One of the things I love most about living here in Arizona, are the incredible sunsets we have.
This was one of the prettiest I've seen. Others have had dark shades of purple, and fuschia.

A Week in CASL Photos: February 12- February 18

I am so glad you stopped by to visit me today! What I love about Wednesday is that I get to share with you a peek into what my week has been like, and possibly a sneak peek to what next week will bring. I've tried 365 Photo or Daily photo memes several times before, and surprisingly, I am getting farther posting my photos once a week, instead of once a day. It makes a big difference, and it's really nice to look back and see a slice of my day!

February 12- Pointy- How does that saying go again? "All we need is LOVE!!" When I think of pointy this time of year, I think of Cupid's Arrows!

February 13- What tempts me...Chocolate gets me every time!! I've even dedicated a full board on There is a lot to be said about planning your blog posts. Not that I've been procrastinating, well maybe a little. Truth be told I am all chocolate out! I didn't think I could say it, but there it is..Seriously...I had a post planned for brownies, but with the cake I made for Lindsay's birthday, (which is the post I should have written, and I do have a picture of that), and the mountain of chocolate for Valentine's Day, I couldn't look or eat anymore chocolate! With that my post is coming, since I ran out of chocolate last night! It did help me realize to become better at planning out my posts. Does anyone else plan out their posts in advance, or do you post when you feel inspired?

February 14- LOVE- Me and my husband about two years ago in Vegas!

Every Valentine's Day my hunny gifts me with Yellow roses, because they are my favorite, and since we are high school sweethearts, the first time he gave me yellow roses, for friendship. I think he didn't want to scare me off, with red roses. He is my best friend, so it always seemed perfect for me and, it's lasted ever since. This year he surprised with another one of my favorites peach orchids.

February 15- Spot...I spotted this giraffe at Home Goods the other day!

What I was really looking for were some new candle stands and coastal décor, like these!

February 16- Where I stand... After Home Goods, I stopped by my favorite used bookstore to pick up my favorite magazines and a cook book or two. Can anyone else get lost in a used book store like me for hours?

February 17- Routine- My morning routine... A cup of coffee in my favorite DIY Watercolor mug (that just happens to be my #1 on Pinterest) and a Triple Berry Smoothie today! Both help jumpstart my morning for this busy momma of 4! You can find more smoothie recipes on my

February 18...Bedside...Teatime reading my new magazines. The quote on the teatag reads
"Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365 page book. Write a good one."- Brad Paisley

A Week in CASL Photos January 29- February 4

I am so glad you stopped by to visit me today! What I love about Wednesday is that I get to share with you a peek into what my week has been like, and possibly a sneak peek to what next week will bring. I've tried 365 Photo or Daily photo memes several times before, and surprisingly, I am getting farther posting my photos once a week, instead of once a day. It makes a big difference, and it's really nice to look back and see a slice of my day!

January 29: Winter... I am not going to complain, about how cold it has been here. We've only gotten at most 3 days that were chilly and rainy. My thoughts and prayers are for those of you that are in the North and North East, that you are safe and warm.

January 30:  My favorite food...Spicy Italian Sausage Penne pasta with Red Peppers, Onions topped with Provolone cheese..I could eat this every day! I learned a new trick instead of draining the pasta, I cooked it with a 2 cups chicken stock and a jar of Marinara, came out perfect!

January 31: On my Plate... This morning, it was time for a Sweet, Strawberry-Orange smoothie.

Febuary 1: On top..Believe it or Not this is the first time I have made a No-Bake Cherry Cheesecake..It's not box, but made with Cream Cheese and Condensed milk. First and most importantly, I love to Bake! With that said, I'm not a fan of No-Bake! Don't get me wrong this was amazingly creamy and I would use this in a pinch for a last minute needed dessert, but I prefer the texture and taste of a baked Cheesecake. I got the recipe from Eagle Brand.

Febuary 2: Mail...It's tax time and I'm not sure if I am more excited to receive my Fry's Customer Loyalty coupons, or the Guest Appreciation Event for Jared's

February 3: Water...There is something Zen like about floating Orchids. Here is an interesting fact about Orchids, some Orchids are highly prized for their scent. In fact, there is an Orchid that smells like Chocolate. Now I could enjoy the smell of chocolate, without all those bothersome calories.

February 4: Reward...Ha...I know what you are thinking...'Chocolate'. If you ask me, what movie I have seen more than 5x...I'd of course say 'Frozen'. Whenever Elsa and Anna say 'Chocolate', I get the sensation of chocolate melting in my mouth...Anyways, no, my reward, (you know as a Mom, tell me I'm not alone in this, but I feel sometimes like the cook, the maid, the chauffeur, the doctor...etc).. to myself, was going to Michaels and getting an apothecary jar to make this Coastal Succulent Garden, which has absolutely nothing to do with Chocolate, but very pretty to look at. Feeling Inspired to make one check out this post from Sand and Sisal.
