A Week in CASL photos: June 1- June 7

Happy Monday!  I am glad you stopped by to visit me today! Hope you all had a fun and relaxing weekend! It was a fun birthday weekend around here! The girls baked cupcakes, while I was busy in the kitchen. Lindsay gave her grandmother the stepping stone she made. I didn't get a chance to get a picture, but if they say a picture is worth a thousand words, Oh My! I love that her and my oldest daughter are so artistic and creative, because Lindsay not only painted the stone with all these bright colors, she even gave her handprint finger nails as she painted them this peacock green color! I'll be sure and get a picture next time I visit my mother in law!

What I like about doing a Photo365, is that I get to share with you a peek into what my week has been like, and possibly a sneak peek to what next week will bring. I've tried 365 Photo or Daily photo memes several times before, and surprisingly, I am getting farther posting my photos once a week, instead of once a day. It makes a big difference, and it's really nice to look back and see a slice of my day!

June 1- Many...Too many Sprinkles *never* If you like Ice Cream, be sure to check out my Giveaway going on until June 15, and my Ice Cream Social going on for the month of June.

June 2- Starts with B- Almost Brunch...Blackberries and Bananas in a blue bowl!

June 3-Looking Up- I love looking up in the sky to see the moon against a blue sky!

June 4-Looking down...My very first Peonies..I am swooning!!So Pretty, love it! Found them at Trader Joes!

June 5th- About Me...Me, my husband, my children, and the things I love, mostly coastal, seashells, tropical colors, and turquoise ocean waves. The almost completed gallery wall, just missing one more photo!

June 6th- Silly- This past weekend, for the birthday party, my husband and sister in law, decided to recreate an old photo.

June 7th- Forgotten...While at the party we were all reminiscing over old photos. We found this one, of me and my husband going to prom. My sister in law was asking me to find pictures of my husband with hair, or as she called them 'hair photos'. I forgot this year marked 25 years, since prom, and graduation. We admit it, but almost forget what my husband looked like with hair, and for the life of all of us, we couldn't remember who's white car was in the driveway!

Are you on Instagram? You really should be!!  You can find me here on Instagram

I recently started following a photo a day prompt on #fmsphotoaday.
Let me know if you decide to join in the fun!

Have a great rest of your week! Until next time!

Follow Friday #11 : Denim and Spring

Happy Friday friends! I hope you had a great week! It's been sunny and warm here in AZ! My roses and tulips are blooming. My shrubs are coming back to life. Spring is definitely hinting, that it is on it's way! What I have been working on this week: My husband did bring me a belt sander, and I did start sanding my accent table. Let's see how much I get done this weekend! I'll have a sneak peek sometime of that project! He also is getting the top ready for Katelyn's dresser, I just need to go pick out the legs for the bottom! Who ever said some things take time wasn't kidding!

I wait all week for this day! Friday Follow's are one of my favorite post, because I hope it helps you to find new and inspiring blogs to follow! Thanks to Pinterest and Instagram their Inspiration gave me so many ideas, with too many being my favorites, that  I would really love to share them all with you. I just don't want to take up all of your time, so here are a couple to spread the love and inspiration!

Follow Friday #8: Charming Beach Living

Happy Friday friends! I hope you had a great week! It’s a cold and rainy day here in AZ, which means, my thoughts are of warm, summer days. Since I am a fan of hot, sunny days, this Follow Friday's theme is Charming Beach Living.
With it raining all weekend, my plans have changed from working outside in the garden, to back inside with more Valentine decorating. My family from Prescott is coming down for the Superbowl, and I'm hoping the rain stops on Sunday, so we can go enjoy some part of the weekend outside.
Thanks to Pinterest and Instagram their Inspiration gave me so many ideas, with too many being my favorites, that  I would really love to share them all with you. I just don't want to take up all of your time, so here are a couple to spread the love and inspiration!

I am crushing on this mantle. So pretty and calming! Perfect for a cold rainy day to sit and get warm by the fire, while admiring the serene wall art!

Christmas Twinkle and A Coastal Christmas Pin

Happy Monday! Hope you had all had a great weekend! While yesterday was a quiet day, Saturday was jam packed with Christmas decorating, baking and shopping. We also celebrated my brother in law's 40th birthday! Here's to his next 40 years!!
Before I get to today's post, I wanted to share with you a couple of pictures from last week. At Lindsay's school, the girls and I had fun decorating cookies, singing Christmas carols, and sipping hot chocolate!

It seems this year that the tree will never be completely decorated. We thought we put the last ornament on, and then we found a dozen more. Then it happened, one string of lights decided to go out mid-tree, and I really want to put an angel on the top of the tree, because the top to this one seems bear. Finally, I still have a few DIY Birch ornaments I am working on and that will be all.

Yesterday our cat had fun chasing these lights up and down on the wall. There is something magical about the 'Twinkle' of lights and ornaments.

One of these years I SO want to do a Coastal Christmas Theme, with blue/aqua, turquoise and cream, instead of the traditional red, green and gold that seems to be the theme every year. For me this room is so  peaceful. With all the hustle and bustle, I could get cozy on the couch, next to the fire, drink some hot tea and put my feet up for a few.

If I have time, I really want to make these beautiful Coastal Salt Clay ornaments

Tablescape Thursday #1

Source via Pinterest

This table setting is definitely on my list of absolute favorites! Just picture yourself, sitting blissfully by the shoreline. Can't you just feel the ocean breeze and smell the salt air? Simply refreshing. On the table what I love the most is just the way everything is set perfectly, from  the beautiful succulent centerpieces, to the dainty pitcher of lemon water, and how all the food fits on the table. What is not to love about the color turquoise? There has always been a special place in my heart for wooden tables, and the soft blue striped table runner displays it perfectly. Right here is where I would sit and sip my chilled wine, have a fun evening with a couple friends, just enjoying listening and relaxing to the sound of the ocean waves.

I looked online to find the real source for this photo, but couldn't find it, if anyone knows where to find it please let me know. Not to mention the Southern Italian Brie and Chicken sounds delish!!
